In April 2021, Takayuki Morita was appointed President and CEO of NEC Corporation.

In the same year, Mr. Morita announced the “Mid-term Management Plan 2025” and released the “NEC 2030VISION,” a roadmap toward the realization of NEC’s Purpose.

During his 40-year career at NEC, Mr. Morita has been extensively involved in its international business and in numerous M&A and other business portfolio transformation projects, including the reorganization of the semiconductor business, the establishment of a joint venture in the PC business, and the acquisition of a consulting firm.
