Michinobu Yasumoto was born in Kumamoto in 1965. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo in 1988, he joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). In 2006, he joined ONWARD KASHIYAMA CO., LTD. (currently ONWARD HOLDINGS CO
.,LTD.) He served as Managing Executive Officer and Director before assuming his current position as President and CEO in March 2015.
