Shihoko Urushi

PROFILE
Shihoko Urushi graduated from Waseda University's Department of Japanese Language and Literature and from the Graduate School of Sport Sciences. After working as a Japanese language teacher and principal, she assumed her current position. She is a member of the Cabinet Secretariat's Council for the Promotion of Administrative Reform, a member of the Japan Arts Council, and a member of the Management Council of the University of Tokyo. The school's educational pillar is "28 Project ~ Nurturing women who will play an active role in society when they reach the age of 28". She is a prolific author and her most recent book is "Raising Girls to be Happy" (Yamato Shobo).
Ms. Urushi has appeared on the TV program "BS12 Wise Choice Succession: Business Succession at Shinagawa Women's Academy".
