Toko Takeuchi, born in Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture, joined NHK in 1991. After working in Matsuyama and Osaka, she joined the Tokyo Announcers Office. She has hosted many programs such as "Good Morning Japan", "Hello from Studio Park" and "100 Minutes of Famous Books". In 2003, she served as the general host of the 54th Kohaku Uta Gassen. Her R1 Radio shows, "Takeuchi Toko's Gogoraji" and "Gogo Cafe", are loved by radio listeners all over the country. Ms. Takeuchi retired from NHK in September 2023. Currently, she is working as a freelance in various fields. She is the mother of three daughters and posts her daily activities on Instagram. (@toko_takeuchit)
