Since June 2024, he has been serving as an Executive Officer at OpenAI Japan G.K., overseeing the sales organization as the GTM (Go-to-Market) leader. Prior to joining OpenAI, he was appointed as the Country Manager of Slack Japan K.K. in 2018, where he led and expanded Slack’s business in Japan and South Korea as the head and representative of the region. From October 2021 onward, he served as Executive Vice President at Salesforce Japan Co., Ltd., driving the growth of Slack’s business in both Japan and South Korea. He has also held key positions such as President of the Japan subsidiary of SuccessFactors, Inc., and Head of the Human Capital Solutions Division at SAP Japan Co., Ltd., etc.
