PROFILE
Keiko Honda is a Professor at Waseda Business School, where she teaches courses on sustainable investing and corporate governance. She currently serves on the boards of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Recruit Holdings, and AGC Inc. (formerly Asahi Glass), where she also chairs the Nomination and Governance Committee. Additionally, she is Chair of the Board of the University of Tokyo and a member of the United Nations Investment Management Committee.
From 2020 to 2024, Keiko was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Prior to that, she served as Chief Executive Officer of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a member of the World Bank Group, where she led efforts to promote foreign direct investment in emerging markets. Earlier in her career, Keiko was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, becoming the first woman in Asia to hold that role during her 24-year tenure.
