PROFILE

Christine Edman is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in global fashion and retail. She led the successful launch and expansion of H&M Japan as President & CEO from 2008 to 2016 and later served as CEO of Givenchy Japan until 2021. From 2021 to the end of 2024, she was an Executive Officer at ZOZO, Inc., where she oversaw brand strategy, luxury partnerships, and sustainability initiatives. She currently serves as an Outside Director of Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. With an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, she is known for her inclusive and international leadership style. Passionate about supporting the next generation, she actively mentors young women in Japan on their leadership journeys.
