A.G.(東京都(フランス)、 The British School in Tokyo Economics, Mathematics, Biology and French Currently in Year 12)
A few years ago, I suffered a serious injury, experienced life in a wheelchair, and now live with a non-apparent disability. I came to see disability not as a limitation, but as a form of human diversity. For women with disabilities, the barriers are even greater. At the intersection of gender and disability, they face compounded disadvantages that further limit access to opportunity. I believe that Diversity is the Answer—it’s a call to action, not just in business, but in every part of society, to unlock ideas and solutions that are impossible to reach through a single lens. My goal is to create a non-profit foundation that empowers women with disabilities through entrepreneurship. I believe it all starts with access to opportunity for people to improve their lives - not only to affordable startup capital, but also to entrepreneurial education, skill-building opportunities, and support tailored to their needs. I would like to help create those opportunities. That’s why I’m eager to attend the conference. I want to grow as a change maker, connect and learn from others who share the same vision: building inclusive societies where all voices matter, to shift perceptions about disability.
