Shannon Kalayanamitr is CEO and Founder of 5G Catalyst Technologies Co., Ltd., a technology and solutions provider for smart cities, healthcare, industries & manufacturing, and telecommunications in Thailand. She is also advisor and partner at Gobi Partners, a pan-Asian venture capital company that invests in start-ups across China, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan.
Previously she founded ORAMI [formerly MOXY], a regional social ecommerce business targeting women, with offices in Indonesia and Thailand. She was on the core team of Lazada, Southeast Asia’s premier ecommerce platform – the “Amazon of SEA”.
She helped build Digital HD Terrestrial TV Channel and was director of corporate planning at Boonrawd Trading International, and negotiated and executed global entertainment and sponsorship deals for Vijay Singh, Natalie Glebova (Miss Universe 2005), and Manchester City Football Team. She also worked in Lehman Brothers and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Shannon is a passionate Equality and Women Advocator, often seen moderating or speaking on topics on Women and Gender Equality with the UN Women. She is also a notable speaker in topics of technology and business in Southeast Asia, and is advising various Thai government agencies and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) on its digital transformation strategy.

Shannon has a BBA in Finance from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand.
