PROFILE

Line Aune (MSc International Management CEMS NHH/UCL, 2000) started her career working for the Norwegian Trade Council in Brussels before spending six years in the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry working on Trade policy and Maritime policy. Aune joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2008 where she worked on Arctic Policy before serving abroad as First Secretary at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and Counsellor at the Norwegian Embassy in Paris covering economic affairs, climate and energy policy. Back in Oslo, she joined the Department for European Affairs working on Nordic co-operation before serving as Deputy Director of the Section for Business relations and Private Sector Development and the Section for Oceans and Private Sector Development. Aune took up her current position as Minister Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo in August 2020.
She is married with two daughters.
