Announcer, KSB Setonaikai Broadcasting Co.Ltd
After graduating the School of Economics at Nagoya University, Ms. Tajima joined KSB Setonaikai Broadcasting Co., Ltd., a local television station for the Okayama and Kagawa prefectures. In addition to serving as a newscaster, she also actively works as a journalist.
In 2007, she developed and produced a TV documentary titled “Akai Handkerchief ga Kieru: Yusei Mineika ni Yureru Yamazato (The red handkerchief vanishes: privatization of postal services causing unease in mountain villages)” for the “Telementary” slot on the TV Asahi nationwide network and won the annual award for excellence.
The documentary program “Togarashi wo Kuchini Iretanowa Dareka: Kurashiki Danji Chissokushi (Who put the pepper flakes in his mouth: Kurashiki boy choking death)” that she narrated also won the “Galaxy Honors for programs recommended.” Ms. Tajima is currently researching the theme of recurrent pregnancy loss. She is the mother of one.
