Kumiko Izawa
Senior Consultant, Royal Roots Global Inc.
Ms. Kumiko Izawa received a B.A. degree in Modern Chinese and International Relations from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and a Certificate in Modern Chinese from Beijing Language Institute.
She worked in China for international organizations including UNICEF for 15 years as a specialist in marketing and human resources development; she has established strong networks with Chambers of Commerce in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian, and Tianjin. She is well experienced in training both Chinese and Japanese personnel and has managed language and cultural training for three international entities in China.
As a senior consultant for Royal Roots Global Inc.'s liaison office in Washington D.C., Kumiko consults for western and Japanese companies doing business with China.
Fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese, Kumiko is also an experienced interpreter. She is married, and has a daughter and a son.
