PROFILE
Fujiyo Ishiguro established and became president of Alphametrics Inc., a high-tech specialty consulting firm in Silicon Valley, in 1994. She joined the management of Netyear Group, Inc. and then the management of Netyear Group Corporation in 1999 and was named president and CEO in May 2000. Netyear Group Corporation was listed in the Mothers section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2008.
She serves on a number of government committees, including the Cabinet Secretariat’s “IT Strategic Headquarters” and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Industrial Structure Council.” Ms. Ishiguro has authored a number of books and articles and also appears as a commentator on Fuji Television’s “Shinhodo 2001” and NHK’s “Business & Sports.”
Ms. Ishiguro graduated from the School of Economics, Nagoya University, and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
