The largest Business Conference of its kind in Japan where you’ll encounter highly motivated, positive people

This Conference has been held every summer since 1996. The aim of the Conference is for highly motivated people from both Japan and abroad to spend time together, inspire each other and get inspired by each other. The Conference works to provide participants who want to contribute via their work as proud professionals, with a forum to share knowledge, skills, attitude and ways of thinking. The day is filled with opportunities for active exchange, stimulation from international perspectives, and mutual support among peers who share a strong determination to succeed.

Between 800-1,000 highly motivated women join the Conference every year!
Attendee satisfaction rate is over 99%!

The Conference, a ten-hour event, begins at 10 am and ends at 8 pm. The average rate of attendee satisfaction, from the 1st Conference through to last year’s 22nd Conference, has consistently exceeded 99%, making it unique among business conferences for women.

One of the reasons behind the high level of satisfaction is the strong motivation of the participants. From high school girls to government officials, entrepreneurs, executives, and CEOs. Positive-minded people from all over the world come to the Conference of their own accord, fostering an inspiring atmosphere for everyone. About 50% of the attendees attend on their own. Yet by the end of the day, most participants have made new friends.

The doors open at 9 am and the Conference starts at 10 am. The main morning session, which goes until lunchtime, is packed with exciting presentations and talk shows based on the annual theme. (Simultaneous interpretation is provided for all speeches during this session.) Participants can then enjoy the culinary skills of the hotel chefs by the course lunch served at their tables.

In the lobby, participants mingle and peruse the booths set up by partner companies or browse through the many books authored by the Conference speakers that are available for purchase.

In the afternoon, participants select two from a list of 70-minute Roundtable Discussions. Led by a dynamic panel, these discussions among the speakers and participants delve deeply into their topics. To enable the flow of the discussion, none of these afternoon sessions use interpreters; the English discussions are held entirely in English, and the Japanese sessions are held entirely in Japanese.

The day ends with the Networking Party featuring a delicious buffet specially prepared by the hotel chefs. This is a time when participants eat, drink, socialize, and converse. Participants from all walks of life and the speakers enjoy each other’s conversation and company, the ideal way to end a fulfilling day.

Without a doubt, there is no other business conference like the International Conference for Women in Business. If you are looking to discover new role models, find like-minded friends, share your experiences, and acquire skills and knowledge to enrich your life and career, then this is the exact conference for you. We sincerely look forward to you joining us.

Scale Up

Some say women like to keep things small;
in their businesses, non-profit organizations, and other endeavors.
While maintaining quality is easier when you’re small,
scaling up is a challenge worth taking on.
How much influence can we have?
How big can our business grow?
How high can we reach?
Under this year’s theme, Scale Up,
we want to break out of our old ways of thinking and working and
make bold decisions for the future.

Kaori Sasaki, Founder and Chair

How to Participate

The Conference is open to positive and highly motivated people,
regardless of occupation, age, gender or nationality.
Men are, of course, also welcome to participate, as are high school and university students, those on maternity or childcare leave, and those on leave from work.
More than half of the participants each year are first-timers or attending alone and
our total satisfaction rate of the previous 21 Conferences has exceeded 99%.
We would love to have you join us on July 23, from 8:45 to 20:00.
