Mika Suzuki

After earning a bachelor's and master's degree from the Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Dr. Suzuki practiced as an obstetrician and gynecologist while conducting research mainly on the mechanism of cancer metastasis at graduate school.
After completing graduate school, she moved to the US as a Rotary International Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship student and later worked at the University of California, San Diego Cancer Center. She has been in her current position as head doctor at the Seirei Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, Seirei Social Welfare Community and has been in her current position since April 2010.
Dr. Suzuki is engaged in preventive healthcare, such as cancer screenings, and is dedicated to raising awareness for preventive medicine and women's healthcare. She also monitors the health of corporate workers as an industrial health consultant and industrial physician. She also serves as moderator for the ewoman roundtable discussion forum.
Dr. Suzuki's other positions include: specialist with the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology; specialist with the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology; qualified interpreting physician for mammography screenings (grade A); industrial physician certified by the Japan Medical Association; health sports doctor certified by the Japan Medical Association; physician certified by the Japan Society of Ningen Dock; Ningen Dock Advisor certified by the Japan Society of Ningen Dock; part-time lecturer at the Hamamatsu University School of Medicine; and School doctor at Shizuoka University.
She has won a number of awards, including: Best Speech at Japan Society of Clinical Oncology; Poster Award at the International Society for Fibrinolysis & Proteolysis; and Incentive Award at The International Health Evaluation and Promotion Association.
