Darcie Anderson

Vice president, UNICUL International, Inc.

Ms. Darcie Anderson received her BA in business administration from Western State College in Colorado in 1980. She began her career at Procter and Gamble and moved to Coca-Cola USA where she held management positions in marketing, sales, and corporate training. She spent two years traveling throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia before moving to Japan in 1988. In Tokyo, she worked as a speechwriter/coach, corporate trainer, and editor and joined Yasashii Business Eigo, the acclaimed NHK radio show in 1991. She co-hosted the show from 1991 to 1996 and has directed the show for the past 11 years. In 1994, she co-founded TeleMatrix, an international internet/telecommunications firm. Since 2000, she has been a director of Nippon Hellenika, a Japanese corporation focused on consulting for top Japanese executives and their company's corporate communication departments. She is married and has a ten-year-old son and an eight-year-old daughter.
