Takako Mori is a Senior Managing Director of Nomura Holdings, Inc., Group Legal and Nomura Securities Co., Ltd., Legal. She is the first female Senior Managing Director in Legal department at Nomura.
Prior to joining Nomura, she worked as an attorney based in Tokyo. She joined Transaction Legal Department, Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. in 2011.She was appointed as the Head of Japan Practice & Special Counsel for Planning in Nomura Holding America Inc. based in New York in 2015, and she was promoted to Managing Director in 2018 and appointed as COO for Americas Legal. In 2019, she came back to Japan as Head of Transaction Legal Department, Nomura Securities Co., Ltd., and then promoted to Senior Managing Director in 2020.
She is a graduate of Nagoya University School of Law (B.A.) and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M). She is an attorney admitted in Japan and New York
