She had worked for TV Asahi as a newscaster, director and producer for more than 40 years. During her time at TV Asahi, she covered various sports events and pursued the significance of sports. Now she shares information through Youtube and articles. She is a member of the board of directors of Japan Professional Basketball League and Japan R.G. Federation. She is also a councilor of Japanese Para-Sports Association. She won Women and Sport Award of Japanese Olympic Committee in 2016.
