PROFILE
Asako Aoyama serves as the Transformation Project Leader, Executive Officer of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (“CCBJI”), the third largest Coca-Cola bottler in the world (net sales revenue of 1 trillion yen). Before the CCBJI establishment, she was the first Japanese female named to the board of directors in the history of Coca-Cola business in Japan and served as CFO at Tokyo Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
Ms. Aoyama started her career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and worked as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch after graduating the business school of the Ohio State University. She joined Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited in 2004 and has held various roles in Finance and Corporate Strategy.
Married with 2 children. Ms. Aoyama enjoys traveling with her family in her free time.
