Naoko Takemura

Ms. Takemura graduated from the School of Economics at Osaka University. From 1989 through 1992, she was the first non-US citizen to become a fund manager at TIAA-CREF (Teachers' Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund), the largest private pension system in the US, where she was responsible for managing JPY 300 billion portfolio. She also worked for Nomura Securities Group and for Bowen Capital Management. She was ranked as the number-one fund manager in 1998 and for the five-year period of 1997 through 2001 for offshore Japanese stock funds. She has also won an award from Standard & Poors. In 2001, she was included in Forbes list, "The world's top 20 fund managers."
Ms. Takemura founded Moon Light Capital Ltd. in 2003. In 2006, the company achieved over 100 billion JPY under management. Despite the worldwide economic recession, Moon Light Capital continues to expand its portfolio to meet the diverse needs of investors, such as SRI, small- and mid-cap growth stocks, L&S, and computer-model based investment. In July 2009, Ms. Takemura was chosen to be profiled in the 2009-2010 edition of International Who's Who of Professionals.
