PROFILE

Hiromichi Yoshitake

Vice President, University of Tsukuba
Professor, Graduate School of Business Sciences (Specializes in business strategy theory, business organization theory, corporate governance theory and university management theory)

Mr. Yoshitake worked to reform the organization and management of Nippon Steel Corporation. Since 2003 he has been in charge of implementing university reform at the University of Tsukuba. He continues to work on creating theories and systemizing reform both within universities and corporations. He also lectures at the National Police Academy and the Japan Academy for Municipal Personnel. Since March 2005 he has been writing articles for "Making Universities Stronger - Administrative Reform of Universities"("College Management" published by Recruit), and continues to lecture on and write about university reform.
