Shie Lundberg earned a BA from the University of Tokyo and joined Booz-Allen & Hamilton as a strategy consultant, where she was involved in formulating strategies for global IT companies.
As a Fulbright scholar, Shie earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She then joined Merrill Lynch as an investment banker, offering financial advisory services to clients.

In 2004, She moved to the United States and held key positions at local startups in Silicon Valley, including Senior Director of Strategy and Sales, Japan Country Manager, and Board Director.

Shie joined Google in 2013 and received the Google Great Manager Award in 2014. Since 2016, she oversaw global call centers and trust & safety operations for Google Play at Google’s Mountain View, CA location. Currently, Shie leads the technical PMO for risk and compliance in the Core Engineering organization at the US headquarters. Since 2022, Shie has also served as an outside director at Resona Bank. Shie is a mother of one child.
